There are many routes available right from our doorstep as we sit right on National Cycle Route 5, plus there are many further byways to get right into the heart of the countryside.

So either bring a bike or rent one from near Rhyl Harbour to really get about.

Only a 50 min drive from our doorstep, Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) offers a wide variety of walks, hikes, visitor attractions and outdoor pursuits.

Obviously with the sea so close, fishing is readily available, and Sea Angling boat trips are available from Rhyl Harbour, but if specimen fishing is more your thing, then Gyrn Castle, just 5 minutes up the road is ideal.

This exclusive fishery benefits from really fantastic fishing from five designated pegs on the top lake. The lakes have a variety of depths ranging from 2ft to 10ft with a stream running in one end and a dam at the other.

Take a trip through time at Llandudno’s world famous Bronze Age mine.
